Okay, so when it comes to using a weighted plate, you do not necessarily always have to use it as a resistance on the body. What it can also be used for is a target, okay. It is now a target, it puts an element of discipline on the body when you perform an exercise. And what I mean by that is, it gives you a target to reach for to make sure that every repetition is the same. For example, what we are going to perform now is a burpie using the weighted plate as a target, like so.

One, two, three. Making sure that every time my feet land on top of the plate, back to ground, my hands reach for the plate, feet go back, chest to plate, full extension, feet in, back onto plate, like so.
