Get StartedOkay, so what I'm going to cover now is a leg raise using an exercise step. Now, a good way of using an exercise step, okay, is to simply lie down on it as if you were lying on a bench and simply use the height of the platform, so you can get a longer range with your abdominal wall as you perform the leg raise like so.So because you've raised the feet the range has increased. So the tension is on the abdominal wall all the way through the movement, because the feet cannot rest at the bottom on the ground. So the tension is on the abdominal wall all the way through. So point the toes, keep the leg straight, keep the tension on the core and just perform that movement the best you can.
Leg Raise Using Exercise Step
Introduction
Learn how to perform a leg raise effectively using an exercise step to enhance abdominal muscle engagement.
Execution
Execute the leg raise using an exercise step:
- Position: Lie down on the exercise step as if on a bench.
- Movement: Raise legs vertically, extending them fully and pointing toes.
- Focus: Maintain core tension throughout the movement to keep feet off the ground.
By using the exercise step, you increase the range of motion for better abdominal muscle activation.
